Integrating Oracle Configurator & AutoVue for Automatic Generation of 2D & 3D Diagrams
It’s more important than ever for companies to optimize their design and configuration processes across all platforms. As a Gold Level Partner devoted to optimizing Configure-to-Order processes, Latis Technologies has collaborated with Oracle to create LatisVue, an exclusive, groundbreaking integration between Oracle Configurator and Oracle AutoVue.
The robust LatisVue integration seamlessly adds the visualization capabilities of AutoVue into Configurator. By installing LatisVue, you can dynamically generate 2D and 3D views of configured products right inside your Runtime Oracle Configurator Window.
LatisVue empowers you to view and manipulate mock-ups of your products before sending them to manufacturing. You have full control over the visibility, color, position and size of the configured parts, so you can be confident in the accuracy of your orders.
LatisVue Speeds You To Success
- Save Time – LatisVue dramatically reduces order lead-time by automatically generating designs for customer configured product. This enables you to send designs to the customer for approval within hours, not days.
- Save Money - The LatisVue integration eliminates the need for your engineering team to spend their valuable time generating designs for configured orders, freeing them to accomplish other key objectives.
- Enhance Customer Satisfaction - The prompt visualization of dynamically configured products gives customers increased confidence that their order will be fulfilled to specifications and delivered in a timely manner.
Integration Details
The LatisVue applet extends Oracle AutoVue to provide interface APIs that enable Configurator to dynamically manipulate the design displayed in the AutoVue window and automatically generate the specific configuration diagram.
Oracle Configurator models are designed to store the AutoVue IDs for configurable components, and an extension is fired to call the LatisVue APIs that set the visibility and properties of the product's 3D and 2D CAD images.
